Printing Quality

Surface

Most of our parts are shipped as they come out of the printers. Sometimes surface finishing may not be perfect, but that's a way of reducing their cost.

The natural surface coming out of a FDM 3D printer is layered in most cases as we typically print at layer thickness of 0.2mm.

We try to have as least as possible embossed or engraved details such as logos or artwork, we have minimum guaranteed surface detail of 0.4mm. It is likely that items will be visible if they are less than this, and we cannot guarantee clarity below that.

Colours

The colours shown in our pictures are quite close to reality but bear in mind that these are just for your reference and, under different light conditions, they may look somehow different.

Accuracy

We can only offer a guarantee of 0.3mm. Dealing with thermoplastics in a range of temperatures and states means that different parts can be affected in different ways that are difficult to predict, however, saying that, the majority of our parts come out within 0.1-0.2mm.

Hollow/Solid Parts

We tend to print our parts at 15% filling but this ratio may change based on aspects such as robustness, design constrains, aesthetics and other reasons that may affect the part's integrity.

Intellectual Property

All of our designs were produced from scratch with free open source tools and whenever any item may create any potential IP issue with existent copyrighted items such as logos and brands we reserve the right to cancel its production.
